Technology

1. Hard valve

The Hard Valve ensures 100% air-retention within the AIR-BOX and has the benefit of being totally reusable, which is more suited for use with high value goods.

The inflation system is easy to use and should generate an inflation pressure of 1.2 PSI or 0.1 BAR. The following tool can be used to inflate hard valve Air-Box.

2. Soft valve

The Soft Valve is better suited for more general use with lower-cost items.

Inflation can be done with a straw, Hand Pump or Portable Compressor and again should generate an inflation pressure of 1.2 PSI or 0.1 BAR.

3. Air-exchange hole

The internal Air-Exchange Hole allows air to move between the two chambers enabling the AIR-BOX to inflate correctly.

4. Restriction areas

Designed to help make sure the item to be packed is placed in the centre of the AIR-BOX to maximize protection and give the best visual display.

These restriction areas can be positioned at various places, or left out completely to give more internal space.

5. Quilting

Designed to reduce the volume of the AIR-BOX once inflated, quilt designs can be customized according to the shape of the item to be placed inside and enables us to make multi-chamber bags.

6. Closure seal

After Inflating the Air-Box the open plastic flap will be heat sealed. This feature will prevent a leaking liquid from spreading out (refer to Cytoxic picture on special Air-Box section). Alternatively it can act as a <> for precious items.
