Recycling

Plastic, the unloved!

For the past several years, environmental problems caused by plastics thrown into the oceans have unfairly given plastics the image of being polluting and harmful products.

Several initiatives are even calling for plastics to be banned.

However, the problem is not plastic itself. The culprits are individuals who thoughtlessly or criminally dispose of their waste in nature, and municipalities that do not set up waste recovery, treatment and/or recycling channels.

In fact plastics, due to their unique properties, offer great advantages that actually benefit our environment. For example, the shelf life of foods is greatly extended by using suitable plastic packaging; this reduces food waste at points of sale and reduces the ecological impact linked to the transport and production of said foods!

As for inflatable packaging, it allows a reduction of more than 95% of waste and the volume of transport / storage before use while offering superior protection to other packaging. We are proud to offer these inflatable solutions which are not only reusable but, once deflated, are easily recycled or will take up a small fraction of the landfill space required by our competitors’ products.

In the United States

Please reuse or recycle these products. Ask your local “mailbox” store if they will accept them while they are still inflated for reuse. To recycle, please deflate and bring to any supermarket or store that accepts plastic bags for recycling.

In Europe

Recycling and incineration / thermal recovery offer solutions that are not only ecological, but also financially viable; this is valid for almost all waste.

The “polluter pays” principle implemented in the early 1990s in the European Union is the best way to encourage public services, as well as private companies, to invest in waste treatment.
